What: Join Birdhers and Mosquito Fleet for a bird watching paddle! Participants can bring their own boat, or reserve one of ours. This event is an affinity space for women, non-binary and trans people.
Where: We will meet at Kelley Point Park (map). A small parking lot is available right at the boat launch, and a larger parking lot is available 0.3 miles down N Kelley Pt Park Road. Taking public transportation? Bus #11 makes the closest stop to the area by dropping riders off at N Marine & Leadbetter, a 1 mile walk to the Kelley Point Park parking lot. We will be paddling on the Columbia Slough.
What to bring: Pack along water, shoes you don’t mind getting wet, and come prepared for the weather!
Accessibility: This paddle is for folks 14 and older (minors must be accompanied by an adult). There are public bathrooms available at Kelley Point Park, but not immediately at the site where we will be launching. This event requires participants to navigate uneven/gravel terrain from the parking area to the launch.
RSVP: Please fill out this form to RSVP.
