WHAT: This is a sunset paddle for folks that identify as Black, Indigenous, or people of color! Join us on the banks of the Willamette as we talk about the history of the Willamette river and our connection to water. During our sunset paddles we often see lots of wildlife/ animal relatives, so it's a great time to get on the water! Folks of all kayaking experience levels are welcome.
WHEN: Come at 6:30 to help us get boats and gear ready if you’re able. Paddle starts at 7:00! We can provide kayaks and gear for the first 20 RSVPs, but if you’re able to bring your own boat and gear you are welcome to.
WHERE: Please park in the Cathedral Park parking lot (8800 N Bradford St) and walk next door to our location at Green Anchors (map below). We have a few parking spots reserved in our driveway. Please email mosquito@mosquitofleet.us if you need accessible parking!
